My name’s Des Bowen, owner and inspector. Originally from Texas, I made South Carolina my home after getting stationed here in 2012 and retiring in 2019. I’ve subsequently discovered I’ve had family in the area for over 300 years! Prior to becoming a licensed home inspector, I spent nearly 21 years in the U.S. Coast Guard where I served from Alaska to South America and many places in between.

Envisioned in 2015 and launched in 2019, Flowertown Inspections has been serving the Low Country and Midlands ever since. Home base is Summerville, SC, also referred to “The Flowertown in the Pines”.

When not busy with home inspections, a perfect day is spent outdoors with my wife, Lori and Jack Russell, Tucker.
